Biarsis Argus 1000 and Argus 1200 spectrometers are the high-resolution all purpose USB powered spectrometers. Argus 1200 with monolithic aluminum housing and with matt anodized inner and outer paint has lower noise stray light than Argus 1000.

Argus 1000 and Argus 1200 spectrometers are developed with the funding secured from TUBITAK 1512 Program. Project is started in October 2018 and the first fully working tested prototypes are built in October 2019.

The software of Argus Spectrometers is called IRIS.
